n/aThe taxi tariff of Aude sets out how much passengers are charged for taxi journeys. The fare is based on the time and distance of the trip, and there are different rates during the day and at night. The day tariff applies from Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. The night tariff is used from Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, and all day on Sundays.
When you start your journey, there is a base fare of 8.00€. This base fare includes a certain distance without extra cost. During daytime hours, the base fare covers the first 3.71 km of travel. During night hours and all day on Sunday, the base fare includes 2.47 km of travel.
If your journey is longer than the distance included in the base fare, you will be charged extra for every additional kilometre. In the day, each extra kilometre costs 2.16€. At night and on Sundays, each extra kilometre costs 3.24€. This means your fare increases as you travel further than the included base distance.
If your taxi is waiting, for example due to traffic or at your request, a separate charge is applied for waiting time. The waiting charge is 27.09€ per hour, and this is added to the fare based on how long the taxi is waiting.
This structure makes it easy to see how your total fare is calculated under the taxi tariff of Aude. You pay an initial fee that covers a fixed distance, and any extra distance or waiting time is charged according to the established rates.
