n/aThe Augsburg taxi tariff sets out how the cost of a taxi ride is calculated. For every trip, there is a base fare of €3.90, which is charged at the beginning of the ride. The fare then depends on the distance travelled and the time of day the journey takes place.
Between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, every kilometre of your trip is charged at €3.00 for the first kilometre. For each additional kilometre after that, the charge is €2.00 per kilometre. If your taxi has to wait for you during the ride, waiting time is charged at €30.00 per hour.
From 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, the night tariff applies. The base fare stays at €3.90. The price for the first kilometre is €3.00, and for every further kilometre, the cost is €2.20. The waiting time fee is €30.00 per hour, the same as during the day.
You may also agree on a fixed price in advance by telephone or through an app. The agreed fixed price must not be more than 25% higher or 5% lower than the cost calculated according to the current Augsburg taxi tariff. This offers flexibility if you want to know the price before you start your journey.
