The taxi tariff in Bayreuth is structured to clearly show how much a trip will cost. The fare is divided into a base fare, a distance-based charge, and possible additional fees, such as for waiting time or special destinations.

During the day, from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm, each ride starts with a base fare of €4.40. After this, the first 2 kilometers are charged at €3.00 per kilometer. The next 7 kilometers are charged at €2.60 per kilometer. For any distance traveled beyond these 9 kilometers, the cost drops to €1.90 per kilometer.

At night, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am, as well as all day on Saturdays and Sundays, the base fare is €5.90. Also, if your trip starts from or goes to the Festspielhaus within 2 hours before or after an event, there is a premium price of €2.00 added to the fare.
