n/aThe Cartagena taxi tariff describes how passengers are charged for using taxi services in the city. At the beginning of each trip, a base fare of 7500.00 COP is charged. This is a fixed amount that every passenger pays when they enter the taxi, regardless of the destination or the length of the ride.
After the base fare, the cost of the journey is calculated based on the distance traveled. For every kilometer, there is an additional charge of 7150.00 COP. This rate applies to all distances covered by the taxi during the ride.
If the taxi waits in traffic or is stationary at the passenger’s request, there is a waiting time fee. For every full hour of waiting time, an extra 21500.00 COP is added to the fare. The waiting time charge is calculated separately from the distance traveled.
