The Celle taxi tariff explains how fares are calculated for all rides within Celle. The cost of your taxi journey is made up of a base fare, a fee based on the distance you travel, and any waiting time during your trip. The tariff is divided into day and night periods, each with its own rates.

For trips during the day (Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm), the base fare is €5.00. For the first 3 kilometers, you pay €3.00 for each kilometer travelled. If your ride continues past 3 kilometers, every additional kilometer is charged at €2.60. If the taxi has to wait for you during the journey (for example, in traffic or at your request), the waiting time is charged at €40.00 per hour.

For trips at night (Monday to Saturday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and all day on Sunday), the base fare is €5.50. During this period, the price per kilometer for the first 3 kilometers is €3.20. For any distance beyond 3 kilometers, the fee is €2.80 per kilometer. Waiting time during the night tariff is also charged at €40.00 per hour.

How your fare is calculated: When you begin a ride, the base fare is applied. The next part of the fare depends on how far you travel; the rate per kilometer changes after the first 3 kilometers. Should your journey include any waiting by the driver, this is added to the total fare according to the waiting time fee. The total price is shown on the taximeter so you can see exactly how your fare is calculated using the Celle taxi tariff.
