n/aThe Dubai taxi tariff provides a clear and straightforward way to calculate the cost of your ride. Every taxi journey starts with a base fare of 12.00 AED. This base fare covers the first 3.80 kilometers of your journey, regardless of the time of day or night.
After the initial 3.80 kilometers, you will be charged 2.21 AED for every additional kilometer you travel. This per-kilometer rate is the same for both daytime and nighttime journeys. Daytime hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, and nighttime hours run from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
If your taxi ride involves any waiting time, there is no additional charge for waiting, as the waiting time per hour is set at 0.00 AED. This applies to all taxi rides under the Dubai taxi tariff.
For trips that begin at the Abu Dhabi Airport, a special surcharge applies. The surcharge is 15.00 AED for small vehicles and 20.00 AED for large vehicles. This surcharge is added to the normal fare calculated based on the distance and the base fare. Passengers should take this into account when planning their journey from the airport.
