n/aThe taxi tariff of Freiburg determines how much you pay for a taxi ride. The fare is based on when you travel, the distance you go, and the time spent waiting. Different rates apply during the day and at night.
From Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the daytime tariff is used. At the start of your journey, there is a base fare of €5.00. For the first 3 kilometers, the cost is €3.50 per kilometer. If your trip is longer than 3 kilometers, the price from the fourth kilometer onwards is €2.50 per kilometer. If your taxi needs to wait, the waiting time is charged at €50.00 per hour.
During the night tariff, which applies from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, and all day on Sundays, the rates are slightly higher. The base fare at these times is €6.50. For the first 3 kilometers, you are charged €4.00 per kilometer. For any additional distance beyond 3 kilometers, the price is €3.00 per kilometer. Waiting time during the night tariff is also charged at €50.00 per hour.
