The taxi tariff of Genua sets clear rules for how taxi fares are calculated. The tariff is different depending on the time and day. From Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the day tariff is in effect. During these hours, the base fare for starting a ride is €7.00. Each passenger pays this fixed amount as soon as the ride begins.

After the base fare has been charged, the cost increases depending on the distance traveled. For the first 6 kilometers of the journey, the price is €1.35 per kilometer. If the distance is greater than 6 kilometers, each additional kilometer is charged at €1.18.
