n/aThe Grenoble taxi tariff is straightforward. When you start a taxi journey, a base fare of €8.00 is charged at the beginning. During the day, which is from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm, this base fare includes the first 2.09 kilometers of your trip. After this included distance, every additional kilometer costs €2.44. If the taxi has to wait during your trip, the waiting time is charged at €32.20 per hour.
At night, from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am on Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sundays, different rates apply. The base fare remains €8.00, but during these hours, it covers only the first 1.39 kilometers. After this distance, each additional kilometer costs €3.66. The rate for waiting time at night is the same as during the day, which is €32.20 per hour.
To understand how much your trip will cost, begin with the base fare for the time of day your journey starts. If your journey is within the included distance, you pay only the base fare. If you travel further, add the per-kilometer charge for every kilometer beyond the included distance. If your journey involves stops or waiting, the waiting time fee could also be added.
