n/aThe Herne taxi tariff sets out how your fare is calculated when you use a taxi in Herne. Regardless of whether you travel by day or night, every taxi ride begins with a base fare of €4.20. This base fare is a fixed starting amount that covers the beginning of your journey.
During the day, from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the fare continues with a charge of €2.30 for each kilometre travelled after the initial base fare. If the taxi has to wait, such as during traffic jams or at your request, the waiting time is charged at €36.00 per hour.
During the night, from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, and all day on Sundays, the base fare remains the same at €4.20. For every additional kilometre, the fare is €2.40 per kilometre. The waiting time rate is also €36.00 per hour.
To work out your fare under the Herne taxi tariff, add the base fare to the price per kilometre for the total distance you travel.
