The taxi tariff of Lippe provides a clear structure for calculating the cost of your journey. The fare you pay depends on the time and day when you travel. From Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the daytime tariff applies. At all other times—including nights from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, as well as the entire day on Sunday—the nighttime tariff is used.

For both day and night, the fare begins with a base amount that covers the first part of your journey. The base fare during the day is €8.80, and at night it is €9.70. This base fare includes the first 2.00 kilometers of your ride. This means that for any journey up to 2.00 kilometers, you only pay the base fare according to the applicable time period.

If your journey is longer than 2.00 kilometers, an additional charge is added for every further kilometer. During the day, this distance charge is €2.60 per kilometer. At night and on Sundays, the distance charge is €2.75 per kilometer. These charges are simply added on top of the base fare for each extra kilometer traveled beyond the initial 2.00 kilometers.

If your taxi is stopped in traffic or waiting, a waiting time fee is charged. The rate for waiting time is €42.60 per hour, which is charged proportionally based on the actual waiting time during your journey.

All these rates are set by the Lippe taxi tariff to ensure transparency and fairness for passengers. The total fare for your trip is calculated by adding the base fare, the distance charge for kilometers traveled beyond 2.00 kilometers, and any waiting time fees if applicable.
