n/aThe taxi tariff of Lodz provides a clear structure for calculating the cost of a taxi ride. The fare is based on the time of day and the distance you travel. There are two rate periods: the daytime rate, which is valid daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, and the nighttime rate, which is valid every day between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
At the start of every journey, a base fare of 6.10 PLN is charged. After this, the cost of your ride depends on how far you travel. During the daytime period, each additional kilometer costs 2.20 PLN. During the nighttime period, each additional kilometer costs 3.30 PLN.
If the taxi needs to wait for you, a waiting time fee applies. The rate for waiting is 35.00 PLN per hour, at any time of day or night. This charge is added to the fare if the taxi is stopped or moving very slowly, for example, in traffic.
The final price of your ride will be the sum of the base fare, the distance-based charge, and any waiting time if applicable. The taxi tariff of Lodz ensures that every part of the journey is priced transparently for passengers.
