n/aThe taxi tariff of Loire sets out the rules for how your taxi fare is calculated. When you take a taxi from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, the day tariff applies. For these daytime hours, your journey starts with a base fare of €8.00. This base fare includes the first 2.31 km of your ride. If your trip exceeds this distance, each additional kilometer is charged at €2.16.
If you take a taxi at night, the night tariff is used. This applies from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, as well as all day on Sundays. The base fare for night rides is also €8.00. During nighttime hours, the base fare covers a distance of 1.54 km. Any distance beyond this is charged at a rate of €3.24 per kilometer.
Waiting time is also part of the Loire taxi tariff. If the taxi has to wait for you, or is moving very slowly due to traffic, the waiting time charge is €27.60 per hour, regardless of day or night. This charge is applied in addition to the basic fare and distance-based charges.
To understand your fare, first consider the base fare for the relevant time of day. Then, add charges for any extra kilometers beyond the initial distance included in the base fare. If there is waiting time, this amount is added separately. This structure ensures passengers are charged clearly and fairly for their journey in the Loire area.
