n/aThe Orleans taxi tariff sets clear rules for how taxi rides are priced. The cost of your ride depends on the day and time. There are separate prices for daytime and nighttime rides. Daytime hours run from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Nighttime prices apply from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, and all day on Sunday.
At the start of every taxi journey in Orleans, you pay a base fare of €2.30. During daytime hours, this base fare covers the first 2.55 km of your ride. After you travel beyond this distance, the cost is €2.00 for each additional kilometer.
If your ride is during the nighttime period or on a Sunday, the same base fare of €2.30 applies, but it covers a shorter distance of 1.70 km. After you go past 1.70 km, the price for each additional kilometer is €3.00.
If the taxi waits for you during the trip, you pay a waiting charge. During the day, this is €30.85 per hour. At night, the waiting charge is €38.28 per hour. These charges ensure transparency in how the final price is calculated according to the official Orleans taxi tariff.
