The taxi tariff for Rhein-Berg provides clear rules for how your fare is calculated. Your ride will start with a base fare of €4.00. This base fare applies regardless of the time or day.

The cost for the distance you travel is charged per kilometer. During the day, from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the first 4 kilometers are charged at €3.10 per kilometer. If your journey is longer than 4 kilometers, each additional kilometer after the first 4 is charged at €2.80 per kilometer.

At night, from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, as well as all day Sunday, the fare is slightly different. For these times, the first 4 kilometers are charged at €3.20 per kilometer. For all distances beyond 4 kilometers, each extra kilometer is charged at €2.90 per kilometer.

If your taxi has to wait during the journey, such as in traffic or at your request, an additional charge of €40.00 per hour will be added to the fare. This rate is the same both during the day and at night. The Rhein-Berg taxi tariff ensures that prices are set and transparent for all passengers.
