The Rouen taxi tariff explains how passengers are charged for rides in the city. The fare is calculated using a combination of a base fare, distance travelled, and any waiting time during the journey. Charges are different for rides taken during the day and at night.

From Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, the base fare is €1.80. This amount includes the first 2.16 kilometres of the ride. After this initial distance, the cost is €2.36 for each additional kilometre. If the taxi needs to wait, such as during heavy traffic or when stopped, the waiting time is charged at €24.25 per hour.

At night, from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, as well as all day on Sunday, the base fare remains €1.80. In this period, the base fare covers the first 1.70 kilometres. For any distance beyond that, the price is €3.00 per kilometre. Waiting time during night hours is charged at €30.83 per hour.

All prices are listed per ride, not per person. This means that the total fare is calculated based on the set rates for distance and time, no matter how many people are in the taxi. The Rouen taxi tariff ensures that passengers can clearly see how the cost of their journey is worked out.
