n/aThe Segeberg taxi tariff sets clear rules for how taxi fares are calculated. When you start a taxi ride, an initial charge called the base fare is added to the meter. From Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the base fare is €4.40. From 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and all day on Sunday, the base fare is €4.60.
After the base fare, the price for each kilometer is added. For rides during the day, the first 3 kilometers are charged at €2.70 per kilometer. For any distance beyond 3 kilometers, the rate is €2.40 for each additional kilometer. During the night and on Sundays, the first 3 kilometers cost €2.90 per kilometer, and any further distance is charged at €2.60 per kilometer.
If the taxi has to wait, for example due to traffic or stops, a waiting time fee applies. This fee is €45.00 for every hour that the taxi is waiting, regardless of the time of day.
All these charges are set by the Segeberg taxi tariff to make the cost of your journey clear and easy to understand. The total fare is shown on the taxi meter and is based on the combination of the base fare, the distance traveled, and any waiting time.
