The Soest taxi tariff sets clear rules for how your fare is calculated. When you start a trip, you pay a base fare. The base fare during the day, from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, is €4.40. At night, from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and all day on Sunday, the base fare is €5.10.

After the base fare, the price for each additional kilometer is added. For journeys during the day, each kilometer costs €2.60. At night and on Sundays, each kilometer costs €2.70. This means your fare grows steadily with the distance you travel.

If the taxi has to wait for you or is delayed in traffic, a waiting time charge applies. The waiting time is charged at €40.80 per hour. This fee is calculated based on the amount of time the taxi remains stationary or moves very slowly, not while driving at normal speed.
