n/aThe taxi tariff of Völklingen provides clear rules for calculating the fare when you book a taxi. Every journey starts with a fixed base fare of €4.50. This base fare is charged at the beginning of your trip, regardless of how far you travel.
From there, the final price depends on the time and distance of your journey. During the day, from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, each kilometre is charged €2.90 for the first 2 kilometres, then €2.60 per kilometre for the next 8 kilometres. For any distance beyond 10 kilometres, you pay €2.40 per additional kilometre.
At night, from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, and all day on Sunday, a slightly different rate applies. The first 2 kilometres are charged at €2.90 per kilometre. For the next 8 kilometres, each kilometre costs €2.70. Any distance beyond 10 kilometres is charged at €2.70 per kilometre.
